Growing up in Sydney's southern suburbs, Shaun Hellyer his love of music and performing while still in primary school. Singing in choirs, performing with guitar ensembles and a number rock and jazz of bands during high school, Shaun took his fascination of all things musical and became a song writer. During a two year absence from the stage, Shaun worked on developing a style combining his many influences, and having grown up in a large family meant the influences were many. His sound now ranges from melodic and bluesy rock to a darker, sometimes haunting sound. A self-titled story-teller, Shaun writes about his life, and the life of those around him. He is currently working on recordings for his debut release, Tales of Familiar Faces.
